Keyboarding Practice and Assessments

Many employers and training organizations require proof of your typing speed. At the Career Centre we offer the opportunity for you to practice your keyboarding and assess your skills. We use a keyboarding program called TypingMaster Pro. We can provide you with a certificate that identifies your gross and net typing speeds along with a percentage of accuracy.

Anyone is eligible for this service. We do ask that you register in advance if you wish to practice so that we have a computer available for your use.

Keyboard assessments are $25.00 and we only accept cash as we do not have equipment for processing electronic payments. A re-testing fee of $10 is available if you wish to re-test within 3 months of your initial assessment.
