Tell us about your business/organization and what makes you stand out as an employer?
Saywell Contracting Ltd is a construction management company that prides itself on its people with many long-standing employees, some who have been with us over 15 years! We believe in a healthy work/home life balance because we value our people and their safety and wellbeing.
How many employees do you have?
Currently we are right around 30 people and we are actively recruiting with many projects coming up in the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area, including the new Dashwood Fire Hall.
What do you look for in a new employee?
We look for energetic folks with a teamwork orientated mindset. Someone who is eager to learn and work hard. We are always looking to move people forward in their careers.
What advice would you give someone who wants to work for your organization?
Bring your energy, be honest with your skills, comfort level and plans and work hard!
Do you anticipate hiring in the next 6 months? If so, for what types of positions?
We are currently hiring skilled labourers and people with carpentry and siding experience.
What is the best way for someone to apply if they are interested in working for your business?
