Interested in working in the motion picture industry? Register for a Motion Picture Industry Orientation (MPIO) workshop in Parksville January 10 & 11. This orientation is required by the different associations, guilds, and unions in order to make your entry into the industry. The cost is $170 and course topics include the structure of the BC film industry, stages of production, industry jobs, set terminology, set etiquette, basic safety, and communication skills.  For more information on upcoming events and job leads see this week’s hot sheet.
