Wage Subsidy Program for Job Seekers

Designed to benefit both employers and job seekers, this program will provide financial support to your employer by covering a portion of your wage while you receive on the job training and gain new skills.

What are the benefits to you?

• Opportunity to promote yourself as an employee of choice, as your employer will be reimbursed for a percentage of your wage for up to 24 weeks!
• Receive work experience through customized coaching and on-the-job training with an employer who can offer support and supervision during the training period
• Skills enhancement
• Career Centre staff can provide support by matching you with a suitable Wage Subsidy placement
• If you have a disability or complex work related needs, your employer has the opportunity to reduce work-related barriers.

Take some of the stress off and be comfortable in your job, knowing your employer does not have to cover all the costs during your training period!
